Dr. Jessica Droujko

I’m Jess, a scientist-turned-entrepreneur passionate about water and environmental sustainability. After my PhD at ETH Zurich, where I developed a novel sediment sensor, I founded Riverkin to make water data as accessible as weather data. We deploy smart sensor networks to help industries like hydropower and mining understand their impact on freshwater ecosystems. With a background in whitewater kayaking, I’m driven to bridge science, technology, and real-world action to protect our rivers.

Massimo Zannoni

I’m Massi, a curious engineer originally from Italy and now based in Zurich for over ten years.

My background is in general Electronics, but I’ve since focused professionally on semiconductor and circuit design—specializing in analog chip design, initially for telecommunications and later for image sensors. I love building interesting devices and can’t resist the urge to understand how things work, especially the tiniest ones.

I’m passionate about climate and the environment, which is why I joined Riverkin: to use my skills for a mission I truly consider meaningful.

Product and Go to Market Lead

Martijn Bosch

I’m Martijn, an entrepreneurial engineer with a passion for finding a place for great new technology.
Previously I have led my own startup from foundation to acquisition and have owned many product development cycles, both as an engineer an product manager.
In my role at Riverkin, I aim to develop a deep customer understanding, to help us focus our efforts on tackling the most impactful problems. I am responsible for the commercial execution and go to market strategy.

Monika Krafft

​My name is Monika, and I'm fascinated by numbers. I'm convinced that the most interesting job in a company involves understanding its financial situation in all its facets. Many years ago, I studied business administration, spent a long time as Head of Accounting at Genossenschaft Migros Zürich, was CFO at WEKA Verlag AG in Zurich, and finally, Managing Partner of Acons Business Consulting AG in Zurich – a small SAP consulting firm. At Riverkin, I'm responsible for finance and payroll administration and am always available to offer advice and support. I enjoy contributing my experience and knowledge to this startup and love to work together with its young team.

Meggi Głowacki

I am the quality & test engineer @ Riverkin. For most of the times you will probably find me in some river drilling holes in stones. I love the outside and most of the time you will find me hiking on some mountains and petting some random cows in the meadows.

Danielle Maria Perez Lott

Data Scientist/Engineer with a Master’s in Data Science from HSLU and a background in Business Analysis and International Relations. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, I’ve lived in Brazil, Greece, Germany, and Switzerland and work across Portuguese, English, Spanish, Greek, and German.

Matilde Benedetti

I’m Matilde, firmware and hardware engineer at Riverkin, passionate about building technology that actually makes a difference for our planet.
With a background in biorobotic engineering and a love for turning ideas into working systems, I sit at the intersection of electronics, embedded software, and real-world deployment. From low-level firmware to bringing up new boards in the lab and debugging sensors in the field, I enjoy making sure our devices are not just smart, but reliable where it really counts — out in rivers, rain, and mud.

Valeriia Pastukhova

I’m Valeriia, Founder’s Associate and Operations Manager at Riverkin. I support the team across operations, coordination, and day-to-day execution — helping turn ideas, projects, and priorities into clear processes and concrete progress. I studied Management at IE Business School, and enjoy bringing structure to fast-moving startup environments while supporting founders where it’s most needed. Outside of work, I’m a passionate traveler and a proud dog mom of two.
